Maple and Peanut Butter French Toast Recipe
The sweet and salty combination of maple and peanut butter are such a perfect match. Here we’ve made a French toast sandwich with Pure Maple Butter and peanut butter filled with mashed banana and served with maple syrup, sliced banana and peanut butter!
Mash 1/2 the banana and spread the maple butter on 1 slice and about 2 teaspoons of peanut butter on the other slice of bread.
Spread the mashed banana on one of the pieces of bread and sandwich together.
Place a large non stick frying pan on medium heat with the butter and allow to heat up.
In a shallow bowl whisk the egg and the milk. Dip both sides of the sandwich in the egg and milk mixture.
Carefully place the sandwich in the pan and fry each side for about a minute or until golden brown.
In a small bowl add the remaining peanut butter and mix well with the melted coconut oil until it becomes runny. Slice the other half of the banana and arrange the French toast on a plate with the sliced banana and drizzle the peanut butter on top. Serve with our delicious Pure Maple Syrup and enjoy!
