Pynes of Somerset is the first store to stock Pure Maple, and to celebrate we took part in their annual supplier tasting day. Featuring 10 of their brightest and best suppliers, the event featured a lively jazz band, plenty of delicious samples and hordes of happy visitors!

The day was a great opportunity for us to showcase our Pure Maple Syrup, tempting customers over for a taste of our premium grade maple syrup with waffles and gammon, and telling them all about our product and how to use it.

Pure Maple is perfect as a sweet topping for pancakes, waffles and ice cream and can also be used as an alternative to processed sugar in all types of recipes. As the first maple syrup brand in the UK to adopt the newly revised World Maple Syrup grading system from the International Maple Syrup Institute, there is grade for all uses:

• Canada Grade A Golden Delicate Taste Maple Syrup, ideal for glazing meats and root vegetables, as well as a sweet addition to cocktails or salad dressings.
• Canada Grade A Amber Rich Taste Maple Syrup, the perfect accompaniment for topping porridge, ice cream, fruit or pancakes as a natural alternative to sugar.
• Canada Grade A Dark Robust Taste Maple Syrup can be used as a sweetener in coffee or as a replacement for honey.

We sold 18 bottles on the day – our first consumer purchase of Pure Maple went to Jon and Valerie, who bought a bottle of Golden Delicate Purchase – we hope you enjoy it!
