Our delicious chocolate chip banana and nut muffins are so simple to make. Perfect for when you have a couple of spotty bananas left in the fruit bowl. They make a lovely treat for breakfast or a yummy snack with a coffee. They take minutes to make and you know exactly what’s in them.
Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/ gas mark 4 and line a 12 hole muffin tin.
Place the bananas in a mixing bowl and mash them with the whisk attachment. Add all the wet ingredients and whisk to combine.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix to combine well. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Spoon into the muffin tin and bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 20 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack for about 10 minutes before removing from the muffin tin.
