Recipe for Crêpes
These basic pancakes are so easy to make and a great recipe to get the kids involved. Serve them with whichever fruits you like and a delicious drizzle of pure maple syrup.
Makes 5 to 6 pancakes.
Ingredients
- 65g plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 200ml milk
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Handful of strawberries
- Icing sugar, for dusting

Pure Maple Syrup, Amber Rich, to serve
Instructions
- Place the flour in a mixing bowl and add the wet ingredients. Whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour a little oil into a frying pan and spread it evenly with a brush. Place the pan over a medium heat.
- When the pan is hot, pour in enough batter to just cover the base, swirling the pan to coat it evenly. Cook for about one minute, or until the underside is golden, then flip and cook the other side.
- Keep the cooked crêpes warm in a low oven until ready to serve.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve with strawberries and pure maple syrup.
