Maple Apple Puffs Recipe

Indulge in the irresistible goodness of Maple Apple Puffs. These delectable treats are quick to make using just a handful of simple kitchen staples.

Ingredients

  • 225g ready puff pastry
  • 1 to 2 eating apples, depending on size

  • Pure Maple Butter
  • Ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Icing sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C or 180°C fan, Gas Mark 6.
  2. Cut the puff pastry into thin strips, approximately 2cm by 13cm.
  3. Slice the apples thinly and remove the cores using a small round cutter.
  4. Spoon a small amount of maple butter onto each apple slice and sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon.
  5. Wrap the pastry strips around the apples, overlapping slightly. Brush the pastry with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for around 25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  7. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
