Maple Apple Puffs Recipe

Ingredients
- 225g ready puff pastry
- 1 to 2 eating apples, depending on size

Pure Maple Butter
- Ground cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten
- Icing sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C or 180°C fan, Gas Mark 6.
- Cut the puff pastry into thin strips, approximately 2cm by 13cm.
- Slice the apples thinly and remove the cores using a small round cutter.
- Spoon a small amount of maple butter onto each apple slice and sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon.
- Wrap the pastry strips around the apples, overlapping slightly. Brush the pastry with beaten egg.
- Bake for around 25 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Dust with icing sugar before serving.
